Ghanaian gospel music group, Bethel Revival Choir commences
the year with a quality tune they call – ‘Mawu Gbagbe’, which featured
2017 VGMA artiste of the year winner Joe Mettle.
Blending the local languages, Ewe, Twi and English as the group
professes the goodness of the Lord in his ability to turn things around
and make the impossible – possible.
The song speaks about how great and supreme God is, the group gives
credence to the most High as being the ruler of the Universe.
The group was recently awarded as the overall Best Music Group of
the year at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). It was the
first time a Gospel Group won that category during the past 20 years the
award has been in existence.
Before the VGMA, the Bethel Revival Choir had won three categories at
the 2019 edition of the 3 Music Awards. It won Gospel Song of the Year,
Gospel Act of the Year and Best Group of the Year.
